Iris 'French Cancan' - a variety with subdued colors, well suited to creating pastel borders and romantic corners.
French Cancan's standards are very light pink. The lower petals have a bluish lavender color, while the upper petals surprise with a delicate shade of pink turning into apricot. The upper portions of the light lavender-blue falls are colored with the same light pink, really drawing attention to the prominent bright red/orange beards.
Grows to 33 inches tall and blooms mid to late season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio.
